I found that the difference between the successful and unsuccessful people is that the successful people take action and the unsuccessful just read...and don't take action.

Both Reunion and Classmates provide you with some premium options which cost up to $5 per month. We are going to take a look at the free options and just ignore that.

The Classmates interface is easier to navigate for a simple reason you have to provide your school before registering. You don't have to be a graduate in any school in order to register, by the way! Just select the school where the person you're looking for graduated and you're done.

Now, here's what's the best thing to do after getting in both Reunion and Classmates:

- Find the school and the graduation year
- Find the members

The key is finding the members i.e. the graduates of that school or college. Why?

Because they are the best sources to lead you to the person you're looking for.

You can send them all an email asking for your "target".

For example, a message like: "Hi, I'm [name] and are looking for a my close friend [name]. Since you studied in the same school/college I suppose you know something about her/him currently, right? Let me know. Regards."

That's it.

This is of great use if you have an unknown phone prank calls or a company that's calling you all the time pitching their latest product.
