How To Get Abs - "The Magnificent 7"

For those of you who long to know how to get abs, I am going to teach you what I have coined to be "The Magnificent 7".  I have tried everything from the magic fat burner pill to the newest ab eliminator machine that has left me with no results.  

If there is anything that you learn here, get these 7 principles and I promise that you will get that six pack you always wanted. Once you know how to get abs, people will be asking you how to get them!

Ready, set, go!

   1) Discipline thyself. There is no trying, make a decision today that you are going to do it or not. If they could sell discipline in a bottle we would be able to do anything we want. Just like you brush your teeth every day, you must mentally program yourself that you MUST and WILL DO THIS!

   2) Patience. This is not going to take a year but it isn't going to come next week. I see it time and time again that people fail because they don't see the results as soon as they wanted. It will come. There is no mystery on how to get abs.

   3) Exercise. For those of you who are just starting out I recommend you exercise those abs 3 times per week every other day. A good ab routine should take no longer than 15-20 minutes and start by doing 3 sets of 10 reps. A suggestion is to start with the basic crunch. You want controlled and slow movements.

   4) Eat right. This key here is what contributes mostly to getting those abs to show.  Eat 5-6 small meals a day every 2-3 hours. You say you can't cook that much in a day, well I can't either. They have what is called MRP's or meal replacement shakes. Visit your local GNC or vitamin store for a complete listing.

   5) Cardio. 30-45 minutes of cardio twice a week is fine. If you want to get those abs to show sooner, then I recommend four times a week.

   6) Limit the alcohol intake. I am not saying you can't have a glass of wine or a beer once a week but don't overdo it. This will only give you more work.

   7) Drink lots of water.  A great rule is to take your body weight and divide it by 2 which will equal to how many ounces you should drink. For example, if you weigh 180 and divide by 2 it will equal to 90. Therefore you should drink 90 ounces of water per day. I know it sounds like a lot but once you do it, you will see your body craving more.

Now that you know how to get abs, I encourage you to give this a shot. Abs are usually developed in 6-8 weeks. Like I said be patient.
