    Like #2. As parents, we need to patiently listen to our children. We also need to show our attention to them even if we are having conversation with friends.

    You made some good point Michael, i do agree with you on this technique, parents doesn't always take their responsibility these day, i mean, is it hard to be a parent? Does it require university degree to be one?.. you got the points, Even though I'm not a parent myself, however, I think that a lots of parent just follow the trend and what have been passed on to them. So the cycle continues. What we need to do more is to break out of the cycle. Thanks for sharing.

    Being a parent of three and a teacher, I find myself lecturing them on occasion and the body language says it all. In other words, they tune me out. Then I created a forum for all of them to address a situation and it worked like magic. You're on point Mr. Lee keep up the good work and great job you're doing. Many thanks

    Great suggestions. I really like # 5, talk to them like they're adults. Couldn't agree more. Kids are smarter than we give them credit for.
