Play Like You Practice
There is nothing more frustrating than coming up against an opponent that you know inside you should beat 99% of the time. Only to be shaking hands with YOU the loser.In practice you don't have a problem hitting that topspin forehand or crashing down that aced serve. Even in the warm-up you feel everything will just flow and you can hit shots at will.
But once the curtain goes up and the match begins you go into a shell and the guy at the other end is winning mainly because of YOUR mistakes, not through his own doing.

What It Did For Me
I'm more of a winner than a loser now
I used to be a player who would always try and force the issue and, especially against moonballers I invariably would hand them the game. My patience would wear thin and I couldn't get a consistent gameplan into my head that would see me through.How To Improve and Win at Tennis, really brought things into focus for me and gave me a crutch while I was playing, so that if I had a wobble, I could re-group quickly and just stay in the present and just let things happen. I'm now beating players now, even if they are technically better, just by using my head and playing smart. When I do get beat I know its just a blip and I don't get down on myself. The journey back home now is much more pleasant, no more frustrating analysis!
