Increasing your vertical takes time, discipline, and hard work, but it doesn't take long hours in the gym doing hundreds of squats or leg exercises. Here are some excellent tips on vertical jumping.

Have you ever tried so hard to increase your vertical that you would do hundreds of squats, calf raises, and leg workouts at the gym everyday? Well that was me i was so determined to be able to jump higher i would have done anything i mean i was literally killing myself in the gym. After months and months with just minimal results i figured i must just be one of those guys that simply cant jump, i was doing everything my coach said and didn't get anywhere.That was until i found out about this program the jump manual it showed me many things that have helped me improve my vertical jumping. So im just going to share with you some of the simply tips that you can use at the gym.
First of all when training to increase your vertical you don't have to do tons of reps and sets. Actually doing this will most likely hurt your results. The real thing you have to do is focus on working out your fast twitch muscle fibers. The way you work out these muscle fibers is not by doing a hundred squats or lunges. (thats actually slow twitch) which will increase your endurance, but not your explosiveness a.k.a. your vertical jumping.
If your doing squats, calf raises, lunges, ect, then your on the right path in the gym, But you might be doing these things wrong. I'm questioning your technique either by the way. What i mean is in order to get the most out of your vertical jumping ability you have to do these exercises with maximum weight with a max of about 5 reps. I know a lot of people will say well with 5 reps i don't even feel the burn. Maybe this is true but increasing your vertical has nothing to do with feeling the burn. Its all about explosion - power plus quickness.
So when you workout focus on your explosion no matter what exercise, and it has to be on every rep. You can't explode hard once then lolly gag the next 4 because that's not how you are going to get results. You have to go down slow into your position whatever it may be (squat, lunge, ect.) and explode up as powerfully and as quickly as you can. Its about Quality not Quantity.

So as you probably already know i've been obsessed with being able to jump higher and increase my vertical for a while now. And i know a thing or two about how to increase your vertical. I've tried many things that are advertised in magazines and all across the internet to jump higher (strength shoes, plyos, ankle weights, weighted vests). You name it and i've probably tried it and never got any amazing results as claimed.
There was one program that i tried that actually did give me some useful information on how to jump higher. (Not just some ankle weights that say go run around outside). But this program i tried out actually showed you exact workouts to do in the gym to help you increase your vertical fast. And even if you don't go to the gym it gives many methods that you can probably do in your house or just outside that are amazingly affective. When you sign up there are even videos that show you exactly what to do to increase your vertical. Its not some book that tells you what to do. This thing actually shows you and you can just start doing these exercises right away no training required.
Also, it gives you something that i never even thought about while i was trying to increase my vertical on my own. NUTRITION! Believe it or not what you eat can have an affect on your results. I never would have even thought of this until i stumbled upon this program while searching how to increase your vertical online just like you guys. But this thing gives you an exact nutrition plan.
I mean this thing isn't some magical program thats going to increase your vertical 10 inches in a week. I'm sorry those just don't exist i wish they did cause it would have been a lot easier that way.
