How to Kill Weeds? Tip #4 Fertilizer Schedule
I will be fertilizing 5 times a year and will be using organic fertilizer. The months I will be fertilizing are February 16, May 25, July 4th, September 7th, and November 26th. If you are using chemicals then don't apply the fertilizer in July.
Moreover, it's not a good idea to apply chemical fertilizer during the hottest part of the year. This will stress the grass and lead to other problems. Organic fertilizer works different in the soil and can be used in warmer or cooler climate.
