A few important points about fat loss...
Before we get into detail, lets dispel a few myths about how to lose stomach fat fast.
Now lets take a look at what DOES work!
- Ab workouts burn fat - This is probably one of the most widely believed myths. Because of all the ab lounges and ab rollers and ab whatevers... most of the population believes this is the best way to burn stomach fat. Well guess what... Ab workouts DO NOT burn stomach fat.
- I only want to lose fat from one part of my body - When you lose fat, it comes from all over your entire body. You can't pick and choose which places you want to lose fat.
- The best way to lose fat is to starve yourself - Many people's idea of a diet is to barely eat anything at all and to basically starve yourself. While this may work in the short term...it is very unhealthy, will make you feel weak and depressed and can even make you very sick. Not to mention the fact that you will wreck your metabolism so much that once you start eating normally again, your body is going to store as much fat as it can in order to prepare for the next time you starve yourself. This usually causes you to end up fatter than you were before!
Now lets take a look at what DOES work!
Lose Stomach Fat Fast with Weight Training
Many people don't train with weights because they believe that its only good for building muscle. What most people don't know is that weight training is actually one of the best ways to get rid of stomach fat!When you train with weights, you make small tears in your muscle. Your body must then spend the next few days trying to repair these muscles. During this time period, your metabolism is running at high speed trying to get all the nutrients it needs to repair the torn muscles. This means you'll be using more energy...and burning more fat!
Two very effective forms of weight training are full body workouts and supersets.
Full Body Workouts -
For this type of workout you would train your entire body all in the same day. Do this three days a week with at least a day of rest in between each workout. Because you are working out each muscle group 3 days a week, you would only do about 3 sets per muscle group each day. Aim for about 1 minute rest in between sets. The Truth About Six Pack Abs uses full body workouts very effectively.
Supersets -
Supersets are a little different. Instead of working out every muscle group in every workout, you would split your routine up into 2-3 muscle groups per workout. For example, if you worked out four days a week, you could break it up into: monday - chest and biceps, tuesday - shoulders and triceps, thursday - back and traps, friday - legs and abs. This is just an example. You can break it up however you like. A superset is just one big set. So lets say you're working out chest and bi's. You would do a set of flat bench for about 10-12 reps, then, without resting, go immediately to bicep curls for 10-12 reps. This would be considered one set. You should do about 3-4 sets per workout and about 3-4 workouts per body part. You should aim for about 1 minute rest in between sets. This type of workout will keep your heart rate up and burn many more calories than a traditional workout. Your Six Pack Quest is an example of a program that uses supersets very effectively.

The Importance of a Good Diet
This is probably the most important part of your journey to fast fat loss. Over 80% of your results will come from the way you eat...So if your diet is bad...don't expect your body to look any better.The absolute quickest and most effective way to lose stomach fat is to count your calories. If you decide to go this route, I would highly suggest you check out The Truth About Six Pack Abs. ...But you don't have to go this route. Simply making some changes in your diet can provide some great results. Here are a few changes that can lead to fast fat loss
- Stay away from the sweets - Stay away from all the chocolate, candy, donuts, soda's, ice cream, etc. Sugar causes all kinds of problems for your body and converts to fat quicker than anything else.
- Avoid processed foods - these are things such as potato chips and crackers or pretty much anything that comes in a box or a bag and is stored on the shelf at a grocery store. They contain high amounts of sodium, preservatives, and artificial sweeteners. Stay away from them.
- Eat more vegetables - Vegetables are healthy, filling, and very low in calories. Adding a portion of vegetables to your meals will cause you to get full quicker, while eating less calories.
- Avoid white flour - White flour is similar to white sugar. It has no nutritional value, spikes your insulin, and usually gets stored as fat. It is a chemically altered food that your body really doesn't know how to digest.
- Drink more water - Drinking more water can do wonders for your body. Just by drinking 8-10 glasses of water a day you will lose much of your water weight, causing you to look and feel skinnier. It will also keep you from feeling so hungry throughout the day. Not to mention the fact that it has no calories.
- Eat less - Many of us tend to overeat simply because the food is in front of us. Try fixing smaller portions and not finishing everything on your plate. You'll be surprised how much this will help.

Lose Stomach Fat Fast with Interval Training
One thing that people hate the most about losing stomach fat is cardio. I completely understand this because normal steady pace cardio can be extremely boring.Well guess what? You don't have to do that any more...

Interval training can be defined as a short period of high intensity activity, followed by a period of low intensity activity. An example of this would be to run at a high intensity level for about 40 seconds, then walk for 2 minutes. You would repeat this process about 6-8 times. This will take you less than 20 minutes.
The beauty of this is that it takes less time to do and actually causes you to lose more stomach fat than normal steady pace cardio.
Unlike normal cardio, interval training also speeds up your metabolism, so you'll be burning more fat throughout the entire day...even while you sleep!!
You should do this about 2-3 times per week.
