It is a cool activity that you can make and use an ornament or a bookmark. These make great Christmas gifts for everyone in your family, and you can make these while watching television. Why not get crafty and make some holiday ornaments when you are just lounging in front of your favorite DVD?

Supplies Needed To Make A Cross Stitch Candy Cane

Here are the supplies you will need to make the cross stitch candy cane.

How To Make A Cross Stitch Candy Cane

Step One:

Draw a candy cane template on cardstock.

Step Two:

Trace the template onto the plastic canvas.

Step Three:

Cut the candy cane shape out of the plastic canvas.

Step Four:

Cross stitch the first three rows on the candy cane with red yarn.

Step Five:

Cross stitch the next three rows of the candy cane with white yarn.

Step Six:

Alternate this pattern until candy cane is completely filled.

Final Step:

Place the candy cane cross stitched ornament on a Christmas tree, or use as a bookmark.

    This is a fun craft idea for young kids because it is very easy to make. The ebay ornaments are very cute, but those were just the ones that come up when I type in Christmas ornaments on the ebay capsule. I might buy a few, those are very cute! Your domino pendant is very cute and I hope you have fun making more jewelry.
