After turning into a quick fad more than 50 years ago, these plastic craft strings still employ a good hold in the crafting world because of its versatility and appeal to the younger kids. If you can't recall anything about scoobies or maybe getting nags from your own child, then let us teach you how to make scoobies.

Scoubidou, Scooby doo, Scoobies...
They come by a lot of names, often with a playful reference to that mystery solving cartoon pooch but Scoubidous are really just plain craft strings that come in an array of colors that tickle the imagination of kids and adults alike, turning into bracelets, keyrings, zipper pulls, lanyards and several other objects. These strings are knotted and pulled with so many combinations and techniques that it's easy to be lost in all of the technicalities of it.
The materials you'll always need regardless of any project will always be the amount of actual scoubidou strings. Make sure there is enough for the project. Then you must always have a pair of scissors on stand-by and a ruler, or if you want a flexible tape measure will do as well.
Remember that when starting off with your knots, it doesn't matter if you make yours too tight or not. What matters that if you decide to make it tight, you should employ the same amount of pressure with every other knot for that project. Consistency with the knots is crucial for a successful project.
If in case, you need to stop midway a project for something, you can use a paper clip to snip the project where it currently is and continue on with the project later.
