- Very important information here. Like Phil, I also found that by keeping cigarettes in the house I was able to quit but when there was none I would go in a panic.

- Hi Carol,
I quit tobacco products about 6 years ago. It is up there on my list of most difficult things to do. Every time I would throw out my tobacco I'd go into a serious panic. Many times found myself driving to the store in the middle of the night.
What finally worked for me was to keep the tobacco nearby. I'd tell myself I could have some whenever I wanted but I'll just put it off awhile. Eventually the little whiles turned into a very long time.
