- I have a few lenses that I rearrange for seasonal traffic. One is Front Porch Ideas for All Seasons. I leave the fall decorating, winter decorating and winterizing on the lens all year, but move the current season's modules to the top for each season.

- Awesome! I like the idea of having the most current information at the top of the lens. It is the way blogs are done... people are familiar with that kind of layout.

- Neat idea. If I make the 100 Club, I will try to recycle some of my early lenses!

- Nice lens, I had actually made a couple lenses with this in mind recently - one of the latest being a lens on unique tea blends so right now the content is all about the holidays. Once they are over I can switch over to other tea blends - hopefully it will work out.. going a little slow so far I guess not many people search for holiday tea blends. =)

- Very helpful! I am going to experiment with this a bit! I have had some success just updating titles, but seasonal specific makes sense! Thank you!

- Hello CleanerLife, Thank you for visiting my lens. I like what you said "..it does seem better to retool low traffic Lenses. Also sounds good to make seasonal Lenses flexible for year round use." That is how this started for me. I have another one to work on soon that I made for Father's day and I want to create a Just for Dad holiday lens from it. (The recommendations will stay the same because Dad Loves the same kind of gifts all year round generally) I'll just find some newer releases of some things. Thanks again for dropping by. I'd love to see the lens you are going to try this idea out with. Post your link here.
Hello jewelsofawe, Great points you made especially "...I added tags and have changed the name and/or added content and had the lens improve in rank by quite a bit" I didn't mention tags in the lens (or if I did it wasn't enough empasis on it). Tags do need to be changed (or at least reviewed for pertainence). :D Thanks for the lensroll :D

- Great lens! I love the posters! I lensrolled it to some of my lenses. I have done some of this idea with lenses that were not doing well I added tags and have changed the name and/or added content and had the lens improve in rank by quite a bit by doing those steps, one or more of them.

- Thanks, I hadn't even considered that I might need to recycle a Lens. I does seem better to retool low traffic Lenses. Also sounds good to make seasonal Lenses flexible for year round use.

- Thank you TeaLady, I am glad this lens was helpful. You have so much wisdom in selection of URL's It is an honor that you find this lens helpful. Thank you very very much. :D
Great idea CrypticFragments, I can see how a rotating module lens would work out very well for seasonal themes. Let us know when you have that one started, I would love to see it.
About your statement "...broad generic URL's are bad..." I agree. I suggest Generic Specific URL's for that reason. You got the idea with your inspiration for a URL... That will be a great lens! :D Thank you for dropping by my lens! :D

- ah ha! well I found it...I am still skeptical (of course you know that's just me!)
5* G~O
I can see how a more specific URL like "holiday gifts" would be ok, again I have heard that very broad generic URLs are bad...
that said, however, I have an idea of using a holiday lens where you just move the current holiday to the top as seasons progress rather than recycling!
hmmmm
we shall see where this leads! thank you for all your work putting this together, you remain an inspiration!
