What Is Stress and how can we deal with the madness of a modern world?

Stress is a feeling or often a negative feeling, that's brought about because we react to particular events in our lives. It's our body's way of responding, it's a natural defense or coping mechanism that has been with us for a very long time. However it hasn't been until the recent 150 years or so that stress has broaden if you will. The breadth is multiplying daily.

The goings on that provoke or bring about stress are called stressors. They cover a whole range of possible situations, everything from hair raising physical danger to public speaking which are peoples largest fear, even over death. So the do it yourself-er knows the answer concerning how to relieve stress but really this no damage control formula that we relieve the stress in our lives overnight. There are things however, that we can do to minimize stress, and this is what my lens is about.
So I have been doing a little searching around the internet for a little further reading and here is a couple blogs I came across, so feel free to broaden your horizons.

Big Pharma nonsense

hell on wheels

I recently looked into purchasing some, "please God bring back my hair products" and
best multivitamins
, and I'm reading the package of one of the products and everything sounds great until I get to the side effects (start reading them really fast) bloating, nausea, tremor, dry mouth, dizziness, impotence, sweating, homosexuality, discomfort of minorities, rash, diarrhea, hot flashes, vertigo, flatulence...eeeyouu ringworm, cholera, vagisill, myopathy, KILLER BEEEEES!!!! Parkinson's, abnormal ejaculation, (Mime turning the product over to read more side effects) male impregnation, gout, decreased libido, gangrene, ambiguous genital disease, and fear of clocks.
Wow that's a lot of side effects...but I am losing my hair. Hmm, this is a toughy. I guess I'll try
For once I would like to see happy thoughts as a side effect for all the pharmaceutical company's "cures "that we put into or on or around our body. Not things that make us sicker, much, much sicker.
"But why would the major billion dollar a year pharmaceutical corporations want to make us sicker, Person?? There are friends!!! Your right, I was prescribed Paxil and one of the side effects they warned me about was poor judgment. I'm sorry. I will stick with something that gives me a great dose of
omega 3 benefits
for sure.
