How to rip DVD

After installation , run Xilisoft DVD Ripper ,this is the main window

Put the dvd you want to rip in your optical drive , then
go to File -> Open DVD and choose your optical drive .

From titles shown under your dvd choose clips that you want to rip.

Preview will helps you to choose what you want.

You can select multiple files and click "Merge Selected Item into One" button on the toolbar to merge the selected files into one and create a merged item in the file list.You may choose any output profile for the merged item.

Click on profile and select the output format in the drop-down list .You can use profiles compatible with various popular devices such as iPod, iPhone, Apple TV, PSP, Zune, mobile phone and other digital devices , and you can choose to convert dvd to AVI, MPEG, WMV, DivX, MP4, H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, RM, MOV, XviD, and 3GP video formats, as well as rip dvd audio to MP3, WMA, WAV, RA, M4A, AAC, AC3, and OGG audio formats.
Hint : Search for the wanted profile quickly by entering the profile keyword in "Start Searching" textbox of the profile drop-down list.

Click on Browse button then choose destination folder for your file.

Click "Rip Checked Item(s)" button to start ripping .
