Free Information on How to Start Your Own eBay Business
Starting an eBay business is not as easy as it seems. Here you will receive all the free information on how to start your own eBay Business, and all this information comes from my personal experience!(It is not intended as legal advice!)Even thought it is a home based business, you still have to be legitimate in order to function as business. You also need to know what is the required paperwork, where to get your wholesale inventory, which products are profitable and many more! So lets get started! I also suggest you bookmark this article before we move any further, there is a lot of data, and I you will have to come back to it! This guide is designed for all newbies to eBay...Title describes what each post talks about. If you already know the info, just skip over it!
First lets establish the required paperwork!
You can start your business within few days!This is all based on my experience and it is not intended as a legal advice.
The first step should be to get the paperwork in order. (Please keep in mind that all this information is from my experience and it is not intended as legal advice!

* eBay feedback of at least 10 feedbacks
* Tax ID
When I started my business I first visited my local city office and received small business license. The average cost is around $30-50/year. Than I opened my bank business account and deposited $100. While I was there, they automatically applied for my tax ID (or sometimes called employer ID). The only other place I needed to go to was my county office and apply for resale license which was free.

Facts about eBay Business!
- It is not easy!
- You will have to maintain your search weekly if not daily to find profitable products!
- You will have to be able to invest a little time and a little money into your business! It is a business!
- If you are thinking long term business, you do not want to depend on Auction sites for your business!
- You have to be ready to learn!
- You will have to re-invest into your business (if you want to make more $$$).
- You will have to have your paper work in order because wholesalers will not work with you otherwise!
If you are totally new to eBay!
If you are totally new to eBay you can register right here. If you do not know what you will be selling yet, than pick a generic name. Each month you can change your ID. You ID should reflect what you are selling. If it is auto parts, than have those keywords in your ID and you eBay store (down the road)! If you sell books, than have books as your keyword in you ID.
Also keep your inventory separate. You do not want to be selling baby items and auto parts under the same user ID. Ebay does allow you to have ID's per each account.

Problem for New Sellers!
Number one question people ask is how do you find products to sell on eBay and I have to tell you the problem is not in where, the problem is in what kind! If you really want to make your eBay business successful, you need to learn how to research profitable products.
Also, for a lot of new eBay sellers, their business name hurts their business. Why? Their name is wrong!
New sellers want to cut down prices, but you can beat your competition without cutting down prices! It is a fact!
and for anyone who is serious about selling on line I don't know how you can do it without the Worldwide Brands.

Free Templates for eBay
Most of the newbies just input a little text and that is it...You should have a cool looking page so you can get free templates at Auctiva.com plus you can have a nice item preview at the bottom of the store, so customers can see your other items.
Do Not Underestimate Amazon
Do Not underestimate Amazon.com. They are a little different than eBay, but if you can be one of the lowest priced items, you will make money while you sleep.
From all the items I sold on eBay and Amazon, I have made more money on Amazon.com even thought my feedback count was a lot lower than on eBay. FYI, just be careful when you price your items, because their final commission is higher than eBay, but in most cases you do not have a listing fee.

Profitable Price Range for Physical Products
People often start looking for products to sell that are in $30-40 dollar price range. This is a big mistake in my opinion. The reason is that on average you will make around 10%-15% profit. It is vary rare to have a profit of $10 on those items. In addition, around 30% of your listing will not sell, so your profit will be negative due to listing fees!
It has been my experience that profits ranging from $80-200 are more profitable and they sell the best.

however, if you are looking for a long term business, you really need to find the real wholesale suppliers.

Pros and Cons for Affiliate and Regular eBay sales
You can make money with both ways. However, there is a difference and good and bad on both sides. With regular eBay business, if you are buying new inventory, you need a little more cash, but your profits are a lot larger.
With the affiliate marketing, you need less cash but your profits are smaller.
With eBay regular business you have to deal with inventory and with returns, with affiliate business you do not.
To learn eBay regular business it is harder, however on the other side, once you learn affiliate skills, it is a lot easier to expand that business.

You can also sell digital items on eBay. There are people who make an extra $600-1000 a month doing so! Basically you buy resale rights for an eBook and resell it. Once you buy 1 book with resale rights, you can resell it as long as you want. The only thing is that you cannot change any content to that eBook. The good thing is that you have unlimited supply of that book, the down side is that some eBooks cost only around $2. So your goal to get one that can make you some money!

Affiliate Marketing to Make More Money with eBooks
If you are not familiar with affiliate marketing, I suggest you do a little research. People do not understand how good eBooks are. You see, even thought some sell only for few cents here in there, you can make a lot more money. Here is how! Lets say you were selling an eBook that was selling on eBay for only two dollars. If you include a bonus eBook that has more information on other related products and that bonus eBook has your affiliate links in there, your chances of profit increase dramatically and of course your chances of selling that eBook as well.
