How to start a home internet business

Over the coming months i am going to explain how i am trying to set up an internet business the ups and downs,scams,techniques all of it..starting from day one,i have no experience at this just a desire to make some extra cash online. Check back to see how i am doing...lets go..will update what i learn so far later in the day..my head is spinning with all this reseller stuff and master reseller rights and niche articles..whats it all about?..i WILL find out..join me on the road to riches :) or ruin :)ad comments or ideas..and please no reseller links just yet i want to learn this all myself,filter out all the scams about home business ideas and worthless ebooks that have been sold to death and hold very little info of any use..check back later and lets see what we have learned today :P

will do weekly summaries of what i learned during the week..(which will not be a lot i bet lol)
and how much i pay for info and if it was worth it etc etc etc...

Ok..so i done a bit of searching on the internet..wow..millions of ideas,most scams some no good,most confusing, all promise riches beyond your dreams, some selling ebooks,some affiliates,all promise an easy way to make money,if it was that easy we would all be doing it right?.well i am not an expert at home business so it will be a trail and error situation i guess but will not try to spend any money just yet..so i have sussed out the only way to make money is as an affiliate (unless you have invented your own amazing product).so whats involved as an affiliate and how does it all work?..no idea :) but i will find out.. watch this space..so confused lol..so very confused..i WILL find the answer and make money on the internet and will earn a living from it..

Ok i have read a million ebooks and websites on thousands of ways to make money online..to many to do..so i guess the best way is to take each one on its own see what happens.
The first one i will be trying is an Adsense website with niche content from articles. I have gotten a website and hosting and have applied for adsense to be added to my site. my URL is http://www.free-adwords.co.uk i chose that name as there seems to be a lot of searches for that particular term and it may help with hits.
What you talking about? you may ask...adsense website? whats that...well in a nutshell its a website which will hold lots of articles on any subject under the sun,which will get some good traffic from Google and such and hopefully generate income from adsense adds on my site from clicks.there is a little bit more to it but i will deal with that as i am going along..check back for my progress :)

Right then i have submitted the site i have for adsense,now i am just waiting for the code from google to insert into my pages,will check later in email see if its come..then i will modify the colour of the boxes to suit the site and place them on the upper left of the pages..i have read that most people will look to the top left of a website before any other part of the page..so by installing them upper left of website in tower/skyscraper format they will get the most views and hopefully the most clicks

Well Got email from Google today and they have given me my Adsense code. shame i am at work right now i am eager to get it started..either way i will be inputting the codes and setting up adsense tonight (GMT 0) so check out my site before and after. :)

Ok I have Inputted the Google Adsense code (i am having trouble setting the left nav bar)i am new also so will need to tweak it for maximum click through rate. What you get is about the same as AdSense, there are targeted text ads, you can view the revenues from your website in real time. You can receive money via PayPal or through a check every two weeks, provided that you have earned more then $50. If you haven't made that much, your earning roll over to the next period

ok now its just a waiting game for the traffic to increase to my site,i have had a few clicks on my adsense so far nothing quit my job over but its a start.I am uploading all sorts of articles everyday fo my unique content but i have not had my site re-indexed as yet but that will happen anyday now,i have also loaded articles to google blog and here and ezine articles (which i am still waiting for the first to be approved then i am sorted,all posts will include links to my site articles and hopefully can get some targeted traffic.i am having trouble trying to get a google code to remove the border from my adsense so any help will be apprieciated in this area.Will see which adds from which are of the page bring the best results....more later..

Ok had a few pages indexed on Google and for my chosen keywords 'plr tips' and lots more for plr content i have gone in straight at number 1 :) i am top or second for all my targeted keywords,not a bad start..need my srticle pages now to be indexed.created a sitemap and i expect all pages be indexed in the next few days and then i will check each page rank for the keywords...looking good.earning a little money also right now,paid for my domain name and hosting already :P..more to come.keep checking my site and this blog for regular updates and check the various articles i have uploaded especially the 25 part ADSENSE ones.(not all done yet but i am doing about three or four a day..

Well i have been writing articles for ages now..must have done 30 since my last post.i have started to get a lot of niche content on my site which once indexed should generate a lot of traffic and hopefuly adsense clicks to generate my income.Just waiting for rest of website to get indexed so i can start to get my tageted traffic.

You seen the Ads that say things like "make money from home the easy way" and those sorts of things? well believe me that's not true,its not easy tring to earn a living from the internet,its hard work and takes a lot of your time,writing articles for keywords and google adsense income is time consuming so what did i do?...i started my own Article site with adsense and now i get others to submit there articles for a link in there resource box visit my second site www.article-river.com as well as my first one which is generating income this one will be much better..if u have any interesting articles to write and need the link to your page (they best way to get traffic) then pop along and join ..see you there..

Holy sitemap, just uploaded 170 adsense websites all to the same hosting account (i just created lots of directories) and then spent almost 18 solid hours of generating sitemaps for over 70,000 pages with optomized content and set up with my adsense.my eyes and fingers are killing me,now this
'make money online the easy way' is pure sales talk,there is no easy way at all.its hard work..but now i have a full 170 content websites with adsense and sitemaps and directories, i may put them in a package and sell them as a complete adsense package..you will just need to put Your adsense pub code into the adsense slots (ii have a program for this,it will search the whole site and put your pub code right in)so that's an option i am considering . i just had a few pages from my article site indexed so i expect the rest to follow in the next few days..of course i spent so long doing the sitemaps as that IS the quickest way to get your site visited by the google bot.can aget an index in a few hours that way.as thats whats happened to my site today :)..got to go now i am totally tired now after all that hard work...i hope it pays off or i will have learned a hard lesson lol...check back for an update on how my adsense empire is coming along..

A few simple truths about home business..I am sure you have seen millions of ebooks all claiming to get u rich quick and easy with adsense or other web based ideas..well the truth is thats not possible,why? because when you have made your site (could take months to make this) and then submitted it there is a period of waiting for the search engines to index your site and this can take months...not weeks or days or 24 hours...months, so if u plan to start to make money quickly forget it,thats not going to happen at all,be prepared for a long wait for the index to happen.i have at the moment 160 content optimized sites all crawled already and waitng for the index..this is taking ages,nothing you can do to speed this up at all its a waiting game, and then you have to get the trafic, not easy at all. but i will not give in as i am sure once indexed i will make some income how much is yet to be seen...
so to recap..easy money online?..no way...lots of hard work ahead and lots of waiting...until then..also...one quick note..make sure your meta tags are in order,they say they are not used anymmore by search engines,thats bull,they are very very important indeed,neglect these and forget any traffic to your website.
