Common Solutions To Stop Cat Biting

There are several solutions that are effective to keep your cat from biting. While some cats will respond well to these methods, it's not uncommon for some cats not to respond at all. Here is what you can do to keep kitty from biting you.

1.) - Make a loud noise such as smacking your hand against a hard surface and firmly say "NO".
2.) - Blow air into her face and loudly say "NO".
3.) - Ignore your cat. If you are playing and you are bitten, go into another room.
4.) - Put marbles or rocks into a can and shake the can.
5.) - Put kitty into another room such as the bathroom by herself for about 5 minutes.
6.) - If your cat is biting your hand, do not pull away. Instead push your hand towards him.

These are some simple methods that you can use to keep your cat from biting you. Your cat may just be playing and this will do the trick, however some cats are just naturally more aggressive than others. If this is the case your cat may need behavior training to break his bad habit once and for all.
