My Dog's A Demon! He Chews Everything!
Does your dog chew on EVERYTHING? Well your not alone. In fact, all dogs chew! But at a certain point, it gets a little ridiculous, and no less than destructive. Now you need to learn how to stop dog chewing
Once it gets to this point, it's time to get some help! So you are presented with three options.
Once it gets to this point, it's time to get some help! So you are presented with three options.
Your Three Options
To Finally Stop Your Dog From Chewing
If you want your dog to FINALLY stop eating all of your stuff, you should analyze the following options, and decide which one sounds best to you.- Option 1: Your first option is to completely ignore this and continue suffering from your dogs chewing problems. (Not recommended)
- Option 2: Your next option is to hire somebody to "train your dog". This is on my kinda recommended list. The reason I don't like this is because it costs hundreds of dollars, and YOU don't learn how to control your dog. That means that if your dog acts up again, you won't know how to train it! (kinda recommended)
- Option 3: Your final option is to learn for yourself how to train your dog. This is how I trained my 3 perfect behaving dogs. What I did, was found an AWESOME program online that pretty much walked me through how to "create" the perfect dog. I really like this method because YOU learn how to train your dog, and it's a tiny fraction of the cost of a trainer. (HIGHLY recommended)
I've now presented you with your three options. If I were you, I would go ahead and cancel out the first option, because that's pretty unreasonable. The second and third sound like they'll work. But let me tell you from experience, learning online was so easy and cheap that I'd recommend it to anybody!
So now you're probably wondering what program I used. It's this awesome program called Kingdom of Pets. You can learn more about kingdom of pets, and how they will teach you how to stop dog chewing HERE
Don't Overreact
When Your Dog Starts Chewing
One of the main points stressed in the Kingdom of Pets Ebook is the importance of not overreacting to your dog's chewing problems.
What you need to understand, is that your dog is NOT chewing for the sole purpose to ruin your house. It's that he/she doesn't know that it's doing anything wrong. So what you need to do, is teach your dog right from wrong.
But the main thing that new dog owners will do, is freak out when they find something destroyed, and immediately yell at the dog. This will only upset you, and upset the dog, because if you yell at the dog without catching him in the act, he will have no clue why you are yelling.
So if you come home to find your house destroyed, just take a deep breath, and understand that your dog didn't know that it was causing harm, or else he wouldn't have done it.

What Is Your Dog REALLY Thinking?
There are a lot of myths going around about how your dog actually processes information. But thanks to what I've learned from Kingdom Of Pets, I now see the psychology behind what my dogs are thinking.
Many people sort of "baby" their dogs, with the idea that the dogs think similarly to humans. It's actually quite the opposite. As opposed to thinking, and rationalizing, dogs just react to stimulus'.
So your dog doesn't think about chewing on furniture, he is just reacting to the stimulus saying that he should chew. Therefore, your dog sees nothing wrong with chewing on furniture.
But one of the main thing that Kingdom of Pets teaches, is how to train your dogs brain how to react to different stimuli. Such as instead of going for furniture when he needs to chew, he will go for his toys!
