How To Stop Foreclosure On Your Home

If you're reading this, you're probably either behind on your mortgage payment, or worried that very soon you will be.

First of all, please don't be embarrassed. Unfortunately, in America today, your situation is VERY common. In fact, it's all too common. Foreclosures in the United States are currently at an all time high, and are predicted to get even worse.

But you didn't visit here for the news, you came for help and information.

The first that we always ask homeowners facing foreclosure is, "Do you want to KEEP or SELL your home?"

Once you know the answer to that question, we have a few different ways in which we can help. The sooner you contact us, however, the more options that you'll have available to you. Unfortunately, if you wait to contact us just a few days before the foreclosure, your options are going to be limited.

Our clients who see the best results are those who contact us very early in the foreclosure process.

Keeping Your Home

How you can keep your home and stop foreclosure

Now, if you're interested in keeping your home, you have a few options:

1. Refinance your mortgage.
2. Renegotiate the debt on your existing loan. This is often also called a "loan modification", a "workout agreement" or "forbearance plan". Don't worry about the terminology, all of those terms basically mean the same thing to different people.
3. File for bankruptcy (disclaimer: I am not an attorney, nor am I offering legal advice. However my personal opinion is that this should be an absolute LAST RESORT).

Selling Your Home

How you can sell your home to stop foreclosure

If you want to sell your home, you also have a few options:

1. List with a Realtor (while this doesn't actually get your home sold, it notifies a ton of people that you would indeed like to sell your home)
2. Sell to a private investor
3. Do a "short sale" or "workout agreement" with your bank. This is particularly useful if you have little, no, or worse yet, negative equity in your home.

What's next?

Now that you're ready to stop foreclosure

This is a very basic introduction about your options. To learn more, I would recommend visiting our website at www.SaveMeFromForeclosure.com and reading more.

Once you're ready for us to start helping you, please click on the Get Started Now button on the left hand navigation bar.

We'll ask you for some basic information. Don't worry, none of it is private and it's all secure. The more information you give us, the better prepared we'll be for when we contact you.

Another alternative is to try stopping the foreclosure yourself. Depending on much time time you still have you can contact your lender yourself. I would suggest getting information on doing it yourself if you can't afford to hire a company to help. They sell an ebook on the save your home yourself website that explains in detail how to do that. My brother was facing foreclosure last year an got this ebook online that helped him alot. Go to http://www.saveyourhomeyourself.com goodluck.

About JustinLee

My name is Justin Lee, and I'm the CEO and founder of www.SaveMeFromForeclosure.com

We operate the web's leading foreclosure prevention service where as a homeowner, you can find out about ALL of your options to help stop foreclosure on your home.

We began the business in 2003 in Washington, DC because we were sick of people promoting their individual agendas to help homeowner's stop foreclosure on their homes.

Instead, we launched s site where we tell the homeowner about the PROS and CONS of each solution to stopping foreclosure, since there is no one magic solution.  From there, we come up with a customized plan to help them stop the foreclosure, and get on with their lives.

If you are a homeowner looking for options to help stop foreclosure, looking for information on your state's foreclosure law, or even some foreclosure definitions, please visit our site.  We even offer credit repair solutions, and have plenty of free information.

In fact, you can even sign up for free tips on what you can do if you're behind on your mortgage payment by visiting www.BehindOnMortgagePayment.com

Good luck,
