How to Wake Up Early and Consistently
If only had this conviction at 5:00 a.m. every morning, right?
Luckily, you can and waking up every morning doesn't have to be totally dreary.
There are definite steps that you can take to get you up and out of bed.
I won't lie that say that it's easy.
But with the right reasons, some conviction, and some good self pep talks, it's possible to get on a waking up early schedule.
Here are just some reasons to wake up early:
1) You get a couple more hours in your day. More time = less stress.
2) The time is yours since hardly anyone else is awake. That means that you can finally get some time to do that thing you've always wanted but never had the time (see reason 1!)
3) A feeling of productiveness early in the day can put a positive spin on the rest of it. That positive attitude will get you over the unexpected bumps in the road.
4) Getting up early has helped me fall asleep easier since I stay up with no naps during the day and work hard. Going to sleep then is just a matter of laying down!

How to Wake Up Early and Consistently: The Basics
1) Tell yourself that you're going to get up. Be firm and don't make excuses.
2) Turn on the lights, get some music going, throw off that comforter.
3) Have a schedule when you wake up. It doesn't matter if it's showering, making coffee, or taking your dogs for a walk. Find something you like and stick with it.
4) Have a plan for what you're going to tackle that morning. If you know exactly what you're plan of action is, you'll be less likely to waste time.

Stop Being Tired and Wake Up Energized
No joke!

This is an amazing program I've found that has helped me stop being tired and wake up energized. Once I started following this program, waking up early got easier and easier.
I didn't used to believe that adults had the same capability as kids do for waking up with a lot of energy but these principles really did help me find a way to feel good after I woke up, not tired.
