How to Win Friends and Influence People

This is the best book ever written about how to deal with people.  It is practical, plain-spoken, fun, and packed with interesting stories (he even interrupts his bullet points with stories).  It is so easy to understand and relate to, you can use the truths you recognize in it right away.  It is a remarkable book in every way and I recommend it above all others.  Mr. Carnegie absolutely understood human nature and figured out how to use the knowledge for good.  The only disagreement I have with it is that he sometimes seems to think that some parts of human nature are regrettable, for example, our need for praise.  I do not agree.  We are what we are, no regrets.  But that is just something to keep in mind as you read this incredible book.  If you follow his advice, you will absolutely win friends and influence people for their good and your own.
