Do you own a Hoyt Trykon?

How do you like your Hoyt Trykon Bow?

I have the Hoyt/Trykon and it's the best bow I've ever had, bar none. It has the best release I've ever used. It's a little difficult on the pull back, but as long as you're decently strong, it's going to be the best bow you've ever had, I promise. I use my primos cameras to find game and then my bow is a sure kill. Sometimes I think it would be fun to go back to the old way of tracking animals though.

50 yard balloon shot is much futher then we shoot bowfishing. Zero let-off or recurve works best foe bowfishing bows
Can you lower the draw weight?

I have a Hoyt Trykon XL with Extreme pin sight and STS balance and Smartrest and 70lb draw. Love it. I have shot two black bears in Canada at 22 yards with Axis 340 arrows with 100 grain Thunderhead broadheads that were full pass throughs. I have shot two Elk, one at 50 yards in the heart and one at 45 yards double lunged. And my first 10 pointer Whitetail at 33 yards in a ground blind. This combination bow and arrows and broadheads is awsome! I feel confident makeing up to 50 yard shots with this bow. Smooth, accurate, and quiet. In fact I bought a 2nd one for back up.

Bows fps is generally rated at factory full draw lenght and set at highest weight. I have a trykon xl my draw lenght is 27 and a half full is 29. My draw weight max is 70 and its maxed out right now. Im shooting about 312 fps everything maxed out its supposed to shoot 320. Hope that helps.
