Setup
Setting up your HP P1102W LaserJet printer
Setup is easy with a USB connection and automatic driver installation that comes preinstalled on the printer. Alternately, you can run the install program directly from the supplied disc and just follow directions.
The disc includes drivers for all Windows 32-bit and 64-bit systems as well as Mac OS. The HP website also provides downloads and support for uncommon drivers running on non-Windows systems such as Linux.

Paper Trays and Media Types
The small footprint is convenient for use within limited space, and operates like a powerhouse with an optimum speed of 19 pages per minute.
The main paper tray has a 150-sheet capacity as well as a second 10-sheet multipurpose tray for quick printing of envelopes, slides, or other media. Both paper trays conveniently fold up completely for easy storage at home or on the road.

Print Quality
After the simple installation, the HP P1102W worked flawlessly. The speed and output quality compared to other similar printers is tops.
Text was clear and well formed for most standard fonts down to 6-point.
Graphics and photo quality was adequate for an inexpensive monochrome printer and did well for output that was not intended for professional use.
