HTC is a hardware development partner with Microsoft, and is most famous for manufacturing Windows CE portable devices: including but not limited to PDAs and mobile phones. HTC has achieved wide recognition for taking on the monumental task of competing with the Apple iPhone, by developing its HTC Touch Phone for western markets. The company also develops the HTC Shift: a mobile tablet PC with a touch screen.
