    great lens! i've found a lens too on how to add a bullet,it says you press alt 0149. it showed a bullet but it does not work when you try to save and publish your lens. how about a smiley? will that work on twitter too?

    Sonia, nice job with the entity info! I love being a code weenie ... makes me think of my days building the multinational SGML font tables at DEC for VAX DOCUMENT. HTML was a natural transition for me in the mid nineties.

    One thing to keep in mind is that Flash is nowhere near as search engine friendly. If you want to be found, it's easiest to stick to HTML. In the meantime, feel free to check out (and comment on) my lenses on Touch Screen Monitors and Cat5e Cable.

    I've been using alt codes to do French accent marks, but here it comes out weird when I do that. To use strings on lenses, do they have to be in < brackets or quotation marks "?

    Helpful lens. Unfortunately, Firefox 2.0.0.8 must be one of the browsers that doesn't support the heart code. All I see is a vertical line like this: | But, I saved you to my favorites for the rest! Thanks.

    Neat idea. I'm always forgetting the numeric codes for different symbols. I usually look them up in my dog-eared copy of HTML by Eric Kramer. Otherwise I try and find what I need via Google.

    Sara, absolutely--click on either link in "Self Help" and you can get all of those. The foxinternet one is a little easier to use. And thanks to Suzy for the code idea--Squidoo stripped it out of the comment, but it worked perfectly in the lens!
