Email marketing template design is not as easy as it sounds. Besides having an eye-catching design, the email must be properly coded in HTML and inline CSS.

Each email must also be tested the vast array of different email programs before being blasted out to your opt-in list.

This lens was started as a simple project to inform internet/email marketers of current news in the email marketing world. Specifically, we are constantly updating our site to include details on current issues with email programs and clients such as outlook, yahoo, gmail. These programs are constantly updating and evolving into newer versions. I'm an email marketing campaign developer and designer with several years of experience creating successful email marketing campaigns.

Before I got into the world of email marketing I didn't pay much attention to the emails, newsletters, and advertisements sent to my inbox. I certainly didn't think that much work went into creating these emails.

Back then I was a full time web designer, and the idea of creating and email in HTML seemed incredibly easy to me. I couldn't have been more wrong. In fact, I would go as far as saying that creating an HTML email template which looks the same in all email programs is more challenging than creating a website which looks the same in the 3 big web browsers: Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari.

I run an email marketing blog which is updated several times a week. On my blog you can also find recent designs made by me, which are available completely free of charge via instant download. These email templates include all necessary files including HTML, CSS and graphics. Each design is tested in 25 different email clients/programs and optimized for maximum deliverability.

I also provide custom design services for businesses and individuals looking to spice up their emails, whether it be a company newsletter, or a cover letter for your next resume.

There are many different ways to use email marketing, both personal and business. You're only as good as your list, and your template. In my honest opinion these two factors will make or break a campaign.

Email marketing is on of the most cost effective means of launching a new company, among it's many other uses. The most difficult aspect is building a quality opt-in list. After you've built your ultimate list of subscribers, grab a nice email template design, throw in some content and you've got yourself an email campaign.
