Learn HTML

HTML is that magic code that your website pages are built on.HTML actually is a short name for Hyper Text Markup Language. If you are a webmaster, blogger, affiliate, or a person who just has a home page, you can learn HTML and create unbelieveable things with just some basic knowledge. Our goal is to help you increase your HTML skills.

Once you learn, I promise you will get very excited creating all sorts of things

HTML is getting more frequent especially in affiliate links, banner promotions, and in creating those profile pages that will get you plenty of attention.
Even if you don't become an avid HTML user, knowing some of the basics will help you as you paste and copy codes that you use in your business.

If you are just a beginner, then you will really get into the HTML fever quickly. Start out with a few simple codes. Then as you get more experience, experiment and collect the codes that will will use with different projects.

Keep a notebook ot a card file with the ones that you like best. Or simply bookmark the page in your favorites and create a file for them.

What Can you do with HTML?

There is no end to the things that you can create with the code !

For sure the first thing you would think about is to create a banner or a link code. That is what we all generally start out with. But the options are endless once you get the basics down.

Let's start with your lens..Hopefully you know that you can add basic HTML to your lens. That means that you could customnize it with all sorts of boxes, charts, and a host of other custom design.

You can bold points that you really want to hit home. You can add color to your text and of course add graphics.

The choices are out there, you just have to spend the time to learn and keep trying till you get it right.

Font HTML

You can do wonderful things with Fonts. You can make your webpage, blog and squidoo lens shine with a few simple changes.
Font Tips
1.Don't use font tags if at all possible! Use CSS Styles instead!
2.Fonts add character and orginality to sights, so long as they're not overused or unreadable.
3.Use consistant fonts throughout your site.
4.Nobody enjoys sights that are hard to read, keep your fonts legible!
5.Use formatting tags rather than the font tag for bold or italic texts.

Meta Tags-what are they?

Why Are They Importanat?

Meta Tags are Information inserted at the top(or the "head") of s webpage. It is not, however for the reader of the page. It is not visible. It gives a browser or a search engine bot information about the page.

There are several Meta Description Tags that you should be familar with:

Meta Description Tag: allows you to influence the description of the page to the search engines.

Meta Keyword Tag-allows you to provide additional text for the crawlers of the search
engines.

NMeta Robot tags-tells the search engine that you do not want to be indexed

The importance of using meta tags and the codes for them, cannot be overstated. Here is some excellent information for using them.They are all dne in HTML.
