1. Create: Create an account
2. Name: Title your Hub, and add tags that describe it
3. Add: Pick capsules such as tect, photo, video, Ebay, Amazon, comments, etc. and fill them in with information
4. Publish: Click the 'Publish' button at the top. You Hub will be available to other Hubbers and search engines immediately. But it will take up to 24 hours for Google ads to change to the content on the page

When creating new Hubs, you will work with content Capsules. The capsules can contain an content that is relevant to the Hub.

Capsules include text, photos, videos, RSS feed, Ebay products, Amazon products, Comments, etc.

You can adjust the placement of the capsules by using the up, down, and right arrows on each capsule, or you can use the rearrange box on the right hand side.

You can edit capsules by putting the hub into 'edit mode.'

You can add capsules by clicking the capsule you want on the right side. The capsule will be added to the bottle of you hub.

Hubscore determine the quality of the hubs. They are rated on a scal from 0 to 100.

When computing a HubScore, several factors are included such as overall traffic, length of the hub, uniqueness of the content, and thumbs up votes.

With original content, your hubscore will reflect.

You drive traffic to other hubber's hubs and recieve a percent of the overall impressions. Because each hubpage account, has its own default referral tracker, you use the Unique Tracker to link to someone's hub. This is how it is monitored, through the tracker. You can find the Unique Tracker at the bottom of the page, clicking the "Link to this page."

With the Traffic Referral Progam, when you send traffic to any hub, you earn eith 9% or 12% or the impressions. You'll earn 9% if the hub already has impressions from an affiliate. If there aren't any affiliates, you'll recieve 12% of the impressions.

You'll receive 30% when your referrals link people to Tag pages, or the Hubpages home page.

The Hubpages' Affiliate Program involves you referring new writters to Hubpages. When they join and become Hubbers within 30 days, you receive an additional 10% of their Hub's lifetime impressions.

HubPages has designed this nice program called Flagship Hubs, in which you, the hubber, sign a contract and choose a topic from the team's chosen list, and create a lengthy hub.

This hub must fit the criteria of:

At least 1,500 words

5 pictures

3 videos

10 links

Either products or a news/rss feed

In return, you recieve $25.00 at the beginning of the following month via PayPal. And, if you are able to drive at least 10 views from 10 different websites within 30 days, you will recieve another $10.00.

You can earn royalties with Google, Ebay, and Amazon. Google automatically displays ads in your Hub that are relevant to the topic; you just need to sign up for the Adsense account. Ebay and Amazon products can be featured in your Hub, as well; you even get to choose which products you want to show.

Impressions drive revenue generation. When ads appear on a Hub, Hubpages earn revenue from them. The revenue from the impressions is split with the writers.

When someone clicks on your Amazon and Ebay ads, and purchases the item, you get 100% of the commission, which is paid to you by Amazon and Commission Junction, not Hubpages.

With Google ads, Hubbers receive 60% of the clicks, while Hubpages received 40%.
