Finding The Right Hugo Boss Sunglasses
Ranked #36,439 in Entertainment, #425,013 overall
It is almost an accepted fact that the sun can damage the skin, leading to skin cancer. The brightness of the sun and the invisible rays it emits can also affect the health of the eye, causing both short and long term damage. Eye protection, like Hugo Boss sunglasses, can be a fashion statement, but they also reduce the discomfort of glare and protect eyes from the variety of the harmful rays the sun emits.
Protect Your Eyes In Style!
Sunshine glaring in your eyes is not the only reason for wearing fashion sunglasses when outdoors. The sun also releases harmful beams that can damage the eyes and if you have children you should seriously consider having them wear sunglasses whenever they are out. Children's eyes are far more sensitive than those of adults and wearing shades can help hold off long-term damage to their sight.
Ultraviolet (UV) and high-energy visible light (HEV) are two of the most damaging forms of radiation that can affect the eyes. Despite seasonal fluctuations in levels of UV and HEV, protective eyewear that blocks these rays should always be considered. Overcast days, though blocking some harmful rays, do not offer protection.
UV rays can't be seen, being outside the spectrum of human sight. UVB is what causes skin to burn and the cancers that can develop from that. UVB radiation can also cause cancer in the eye. Sunglasses need to block a minimum of a hundred per cent UV radiation to be safe, and these days even ordinary spectacles offer UV protection.
The higher in altitude the greater the quantity of UV light in the atmosphere. With every 5000 feet of elevation, the quantity of UVB radiation is increased by 20 per cent. Even if it is not a sunny day, eyes still need protection from UV light. No matter what season or activity, when outdoors eye protection should be worn.
UV rays can cause both long term and short term eye problems. Excessive UV radiation exposure can damage the cornea, retina and lens of the eye. Cataracts, snow blindness, and eye cancer are all linked to ultraviolet light exposure and protective eyewear can protect possible damage to the eye.
There are links between a high-energy visible light (HEV) and vision impairment in later life. HEV can break down the structure of the eye causing vision to deteriorate, particularly after the sixth decade of life. Makers of sunglasses are now starting to have their designs include HEV blockers in their products.
Educating children to become aware of the dangers of the sun, whether it is to protect their skin or their eyes, is important. Children should begin wearing sunglasses from as early an age as possible. Children's eyes have the potential to absorb more UVB and HEV radiation than adults.
No matter what you are doing outdoors, it is best to always wear polarized sunglasses. Think of wearing your Hugo Boss sunglasses (or whatever your favorite) not only as a way to look great, but as insurance against potential damage to your eyes. You can look cool and keep your eyes safe from harm.

- I love wearing sunglasses! It's very useful and perfect for my summer outfit and eye protection. Of course I need a skin protection to avoid sun burn that is why I match it with my lotion
sunless tanning before I expose myself under the sun. I can't take a risk.
