- Jimmie, I'm teaching an anatomy class at our co-op and I really need some ideas for our muscles lesson on Friday. I have 21 children ages 5-9 (mostly boys), so I'm thinking something active. We read a story and did notebook pages for bones last week and that was OK, but I don't have a storybook for muscles and, like I said, I'd really like something more active this week. The class is after a phys ed class, but still. . . Any ideas????

My daughter is on a constant quest for information and it's so hard to find trusted and age appropriate information for her to research online. I don't homeschool, but my girls attend an amazing Montessori that I am grateful for every single day. Thank you!!

- We just finished a human body study ourselves. We used Usborne's Internet Linked First Encyclopedia of the Human Body, Janice Van Cleave's The Human Body for Every Kid, and The Body Book by Scholastic Professional Books. The Body Book was a great book full of reproducible models for kids to color and put together. Each model had information on that model and things to discuss. We really liked using this, maybe others would too. Blessings!
