A Fun Place to Help Earn Money for the Humane Society of the U.S.

Anyone can Help the Humane Society help Animals and to Raise Awareness about Animals for Adoption at Local Shelters.

We got both our GREAT dogs at Humane Society shelters.

You can help by volunteering or donating at your local shelter or by buying something on this page. Part of the proceeds from anything sold will go to the Humane Society to help dogs, cats, rabbits, and other animals.

Some of the items on this page are pet party supplies, dog and cat gifts, adorable and funny videos to watch here for free, and more. Enjoy!

THANK YOU!

We Love Animals

FAMILY PETS
by JJ

There is nothing quite as wonderful for a family as a pet. They give us unconditional love, friendship, safety, laughter, kisses, warmth, patience, loyalty, sympathy, enthusiasm, and then more love.

I have had a lot of pets over my lifetime. They have each touched my heart deeply. Did you know that the majority of inmates in jail never had a pet? It's amazing how animals and caring for animals and getting that love in return can affect our lives.

Just some or the pets my family had when I was growing up were tortoises, a hamster, a beagle, various hurt and re-habbed (by us) birds, tropical fish, guppies, a mini grey poodle, 2 rabbits, 2 sick baby tortoises we nursed back (feeding with eye-droppers) to health, more re-habbed birds, a guinea pig... and I think that's it.

As an adult, my parents got a tiny little Yorkie terrier. When married, my husband and I had 2 mice, a variety of hermit crabs, a "visiting" apartment cat that came and went, a Siberian husky (from the Humane Society), brine shrimp, a temporary visit of a caterpillar and then butterfly (WOW and then bye, bye), a tabby cat (adopted), a border collie mix dog (also from the Humane Society, and an outdoor pond full goldfish. Whew! Who knew?

Have you ever added up all the animals that have come in and out of your life? And those did not even count neighbor animals we came to love, helped feed, and hugged.

This is a humble Squidoo lens. I do not yet have a lot of useful information to share with you. I do not have many words of wisdom. But I do have a love for animals and the deep hope that this site will touch your heart and inspire you to help the Humane Society of the United States. This is a wonderful time-tested organization that deserves our support. Please join me by shopping at Amazon and eBay through the links below. It costs you nothing extra and you will be helping those who help us every day of our lives. Pets.

I really feel devastated seeing animals especially dogs being maltreated but this is nothing compared to what I saw in the Philippines in my hometown. After 10 long years, I've finally gave myself a vacation break visiting my own town there and was surprised about this news of dogs being slaughtered! It really broke my heart but in spite of that, good people appear to save those dogs. You can try to learn about them at animalkingdogfoundation.org and I'm pleased to see there are still many people who care! I do care for these dogs and I'm a dogs owner myself. I have 2 different breeds- a Bichon Frise and a Border Collie and I give them all the best in the world! I even have my own personalized Bichon Frise and personalized Border Collie checks which I bought online! anyway, thanks for this lens & I hope you can save more dogs out there and great line-up of cool accessories and party stuff!

Am I glad to stumble upon this lens of yours and all I can say is: Thank God for the Humane Society! I know that organizations such as these would preserve the jeweled relationships between man and animals and as an animal lover myself, I would certainly try to look for things to show the world my love and care for animals. That's why I even have my own Humane Society Checks & I would like to share this to you, JJNW and all animal lovers out there! I'm sure you would love this idea of Humane Society Checks!
