How to get everyone to listen
What you say and what you mean or sometimes in conflict. This lens explores some honest mistakes people make attempting to attract talent to their business. Most people are comfortable introducing a new business opportunity to prospects. The trouble comes when the prospect begins to ask probing questions. Prividing enough information without giving a "presentation" over the phone or outside the meeting environment is a critical skill to learn. Additionally, there are example scripts as guidance.
Avoid the following statements
Here are 5 No-No's while introducing your business concept
Avoid the following statements
1. It's easy. Anyone can do it.
2. You can make big money almost immediately in this business
3. Everyone will want this product. It sells itself
4. Ours is the best deal/company/pay plan/management in the history of the world
5. All you have to do is talk to people you know
Remember, you are recruiting talent. Do you think companies use this type of language to interview potential employees? Start screening your new prospects for quality and have a candid discussion about what it takes to be successful in your business. Sponsor based on their reaction to these questions.

Example Scripts to Try
The biggest mistake people make is trying to convince or sell during the invite stage
Mix and match, there's no silver bullet. Just simple and pique curiosity. Notice there is no direct mention of the product or company. If they ask, let them know you're still checking it out and that's why you want them to come.1. I am really excited about a new business I am considering. I feel strongly I can make this work. Please come and check this out with me and give me your opinion before I Invest time and money. It's strictly info about the opportunity and nothing to buy or do. I really value your opinion.
2. We've stumbled on a trend that appears very lucrative. We're having a discussion to learn more about it. I'd love your input. There is nothing to buy, some people with experience in these things are talking to us about how it works.
3. I've been asked to bring some guests to a discussion about Health and Wealth in the local area. I immediately thought of you. It's free and I think we should see what it's all about. After it's over we can go to _______ and grab a ______
4. You know how people struggle to eat 5-7 fruits on a daily basis? I have discovered a tasteful product that is the simplest thing people can do for their nutrition. It works and you can make money doing it. There is a one hour discussion on it that I'd like for you to hear. Nothing to buy, I just want to know what you think about it.
5. You know how everything on the news about the economy is negative? I have found a company that is shattering records and growing like crazy. There is a one hour discussion on _________ at ________ to find out more. It's free and I thought you would be interested.
MOST IMPORTANT!! Email does NOT work alone. You MUST pick up the phone and call people. Like most things, it requires practice!
What say YOU?!
