Garden Harvest

Get down to grass roots with this organization. Donate equipment — from pick-up trucks, to tractors, to office machines. Donate your farm. Donate farm animals — sheep, chickens, cows, and more — to go to families for help in producing their food. A flock of chickens, about 12 hens and one rooster, will produce around a dozen eggs every other day! That's enough for the table and enough for sale. "Adopt" a goat owned by Garden Harvest. Garden Harvest will take care of the goat's needs so that she can produce milk for the Baltimore area's poor children. Kudos to the volunteers at Garden Harvest!
