Hidden Secrets About the Hunter Class...
From the middle of the jungle to a rural farm or even a big city, hunters can track you down, trap you down, and slap you down very very easily. A good hunter can leverage hsi or her pet to take down targets with minimal help and often, that only means the hunter doesn't have to fight much.
But a trained marksman can take you down at range, so watch your back and join me as we take a look as this intriguing class...

Hunters are a combination class. While some might think that makes them weaker than more focused classes, hunters actually have it pretty good. They can fight, shoot, and sick their pet on you, often times before you can react. Hunters are great for PvP, groups, solo grinding, you name it.
There are some disadvantages, but those are mostly in the armor department. And even those are minor by todays standards. Hunters live by their pet and often times die by the pet as well. You must overcome their strengths to best them, but that will often come at a serious cost.

Talent Trees
Dead on target.
Talent Tree: Beast Mastery
Beware of Fluffy

Beast Mastery is all about your pet. Making them bigger, stronger, faster. If your pet can tank for you, all you have to do is stand back and shoot or wail away in an off-DPS capacity. This is the makings of your very own super group.
Beast Mastery is very popular and is really great all around for groups, grinding, and PvP.
Talent Tree: Marksmanship
Stay on Target...

Marksmanship is exactly that. You shoot, they fall down. Pretty simple, right? Well, you have to gauge your target, figure out what works best and then press the trigger. The only problem with marksmanship is that you have to be at range and that doesn't happen all the time.
Marksmanship is good for groups, some PvP, and decent for grinding, but not that great. Use it as you will, a skilled marksman can deal a lot of damage, but beware the melee situations where you'll be at a disadvantage.
Talent Tree: Survival
Ah, ah, ah, ah, staying alive!

Survival is a spec that focuses on traps, augmentation, tracking, stuff like that. Stuff that keep you alive generally be mucking up your opponents ability to kill you. Very good stuff for PvP.
Survivalists usually end up adding this stuff in for PvP, group work, and the occasional grinding, though it's mainly useful for mucking enemies up just long enough for you to kill them or get away.
