Nice lens. You should consider adding a module about "The Rum Diaries".

As a bit of an author myself, I especially like this from Hunter: "The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over."

I've been reading Hunters stuff since he first appeared in Rolling Stone way back in the day and just love it, with Ralph Steadman's illustrations it was a match made in some kind of wacky alternative heaven. Things continue to get stranger and I wish he was still around to help put it all in perspective.

Wish Hunter could've been around to get weirder.

Got to love the Doc! Too weird to live - too rare to die. I'd love to be at an Acid Test with Kesey and Thompson...Yeah, Great lens!

One of the all-time greats from the 1960s-1970s era. In later years he lost some momentum but was always entertaining.

Hunter would have lots to say if he was alive today. Even he would be mortified, as I am. Never mind, "we live in interesting times"; we live in dangerous times, all of us, unfortunately most are just too dumbed down to know it.

This brought back happy memories - I read Fear and Loathing in 1980. I see you haven't had any comments for a while, so here's one complete with Angel Blessings for a great lens and lensrolled to my lenses Complaining can be Fun and Should Drugs be Decriminalized?

I remember being lent F&L at Uni. Somehow I haven't seen the film even though it has Johnny Depp in it. I don't understand how this has happened. Must remedy it at once!

And that, I think, was the handle—that sense of inevitable victory over the forces of Old and Evil. Not in any mean or military sense; we didn’t need that. Our energy would simply prevail. There was no point in fighting—on our side or theirs. We had all the momentum; we were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave ....

So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark —that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.

Strange to see that odd moment of clarity in HST...

    These are all valid questions:

"Jesus! Did I say that? Or just think it? Was I talking? Did they hear me?"

    Cool lens. ~Jesse
