HydraMedia Affiliate Network

If you are a beginning, mid-level, or advanced affiliate, knowing the players in the affiliate network space is important.

But even more important is knowing which affiliate networks are appropriate for your level of expertise, volume, and commission levels.

For example if you're a beginning affiliate, going straight to an affiliate network like Commission Junction could be daunting - as it's backend system is not very intuitive at all and the help system isn't much help for a newbie.

Not because CJ isn't a good affiliate network - it is. But it is so complex that it can be overwhelming for a new affiliate marketer.

A larger affiliate or superaffiliate may do very well with a network like HydraMedia. Hydra offers an outstanding selection of offers for big affiliates along with Affiliates already doing significant volume and commissions on products they already run through their network. Or if the larger affiliate knows they can hit $20,000 in commissions in their first month or so it may be worth testing out Hydra as well.

HydraMedia can also be a great choice for E-Mail publishers or sites that own web properties in-house that are available for web-placement offers.

Affiliates with yearly commissions in the $100,000 to $300,000 level would probably be better off starting with affiliate networks that have shorter payment cycles than HydraMedia and many of the other Net 15 payment networks in order to avoid any potential cashflow issues. Sometimes those cashflow issues aren't readily apparent up front but become more and more apparent as the affiliate grows his or her business.

That doesn't mean the smaller or mid-level affiliate shouldn't ever work with HydraMedia. It just means that they need to decide the right timing for working with the Hydra Media Network.
