For you Newbies on Hydrogen Generators (using water as fuel) Read This...
What you are about to read is a basic overview on how the Hydrogen Generator works. This is just an overview and has some extra notes that I think you need to know if you decided to take part in having a HHO System in your own vehicle. I have read a number of articles and sales pages and most of them don't mention some of the things you will read in this article.
How does a Hydrogen Generator System Work?

When you have electrical current running through two metal plates that are in water, the water molecules start to separate in to 2 part hydrogen and 1 part oxygen, this process is called electrolysis. The power supply is coming from your 12 volt vehicle battery and should be controlled by a Pulse Width Modulator for water temperature control and for your alternator wont work to hard if your hydrogen generator is pulling to much amperes.
Stainless steel plates are used and are arranged in a pattern where half is connected on the negative side of the battery and the other half is connected on the positive side of the battery. But there are some that are put together differently that doesn't look like it will work, and lo and behold it still works.
Don't forget putting 2 metal plates or wires in water will not separate the water molecules unless you have what they call a catalyst which is called an "Electrolyte". With just a small amount like a tea spoon with about two quarts of water you can make some bubbles. It maybe a little bubbles it maybe a lot of bubbles it depends how much amperes from your power supply is going in. In the bubbles is the separated molecule hydrogen.
That what makes the "Bang !" Kinda like fire crackers.
When you separate the water molecules H2O you have Hydrogen Hydrogen Oxygen, That's where we get HHO gas terminology from. Another way to look at it is an Alternative Fuel Additive that helps in cleaning your exhaust emissions and helping the environment restore itself.
In the future computers will rule the world...
Well since the future is just around the corner we have cars and trucks on the road today that use computers for fuel management and emission control. Its better for the environment but is not perfect. These car computers is a challenge for HHO Systems because it is a fuel additive that mixes with the fuel and air already going into the intake.
It helps burn practically all of the gasoline molecules in the combustion chamber and leaves the exhaust manifold with excessively less emissions (drastically less unburned gasoline). So the good ole oxygen sensor is smelling to much oxygen before the catalytic converter and thinks the engine is running to lean (not enough gasoline) and gets the computer to pump in more fuel until the oxygen sensor can smell some lesser amount of oxygen (due to the mass amount of unburned gasoline) and will keep that amount according to vehicle specs. That means your MPG with the HHO System is getting worse, rather than better.
We have a Problem... But here is a Solution
There are a group of people out there that has seen the benefits of using a HHO System in your car or truck, they have made these mini computers to retrain the oxygen sensor to work with the new fuel additive (HHO) that is being used.
This is a very important part if your vehicle if it has fuel injection, if you don't install a mini computer then your HHO System will not do what you expect it to do, that is to save your money on gas, get better mpg and help the environment restore it self by having cleaner exhaust fumes from your vehicle.
That's about it for this overview on using a Hydrogen Generator on your vehicle and what to expect. If you would like to get the ebook to learn more and build yourself a HHO System. Like I have go to:
