Water for Gas, or HHO - What is it?

Using water for gas basically means that one is using a system that separates water molecules into hydrogen gas to power a vehicle and to help conserve gasoline by making the combustion process far more efficient.

Anyone can install a water for gas system themselves, as it does not take an advanced knowledge of automobiles, mechanics, or technology to get going. A person can assemble the water for gas system in their home garage using readily available parts that should cost no more than a hundred dollars.

You do not have to modify the engine in any way to use the system. The HHO gas system is simply added on, by porting its output into the air intake/vacuum system of the engine. If you are unsure, a mechanic can install it for you for around one hour's cost of labor.

Water for gas systems have been around for over ninety years. However, the water for gas systems available today have been designed with the latest in technology, simplified for durability and affordability.

Why should you use water for gas in your vehicle?

For one, there isn't much profit opportunity in it for big businesses. Water is far too abundant and recyclable in comparison to gasoline. Stan Meyers - The Hydrogen HHO Gas Pioneer

Almost everyone knows that any gas powered vehicle can be converted to run off of Hydrogen gas. There are a rapidly growing number of people out there who are doing just that. Even some city governments use Hydrogen powered vehicles.

One method is to produce your own Hydrogen at home using a few solar panels supplying the necessary power to split (create) the Hydrogen from water in an enclosed tank. During the night, the Hydrogen that was split during the day is pumped into a Fuel Cell located in the vehicle where it's slowly absorbed and stored in a very safe manner. The Fuel Cell contains Metal Hydrides that soak up Hydrogen like a sponge soaks up water. When Hydrogen gas is needed, the Fuel Cell is heated which releases the stored Hydrogen and is then supplied to the engine of the vehicle. Currently, Fuel Cells can only hold around 1 to 2 percent of their weight in Hydrogen at room temperature, so a 100 pound Fuel Cell can store only 1 to 2 pounds of Hydrogen.

Hydrogen powered vehicles are as efficient as gasoline powered vehicles and instead of producing harmful exhausts, the only thing that comes out of the tail pipe of a Hydrogen powered vehicle is water and water vapor in the form of steam. Yes! Only water! No harmful gases that add to our Earth's green house effect. If every one decided to start producing their own Hydrogen for car fuel, there would be no need for gas storing Filling Stations.

No reason for dependency on foreign oil. No real reason to to be in Iraq. No reason for the loss of lives of our woman and men who are over there fighting, and no great need for the almighty Black Gold other then perhaps for asphalt and some plastics which we could substitute with other materials.

So why, do you ask, aren't we running all of our vehicles on Hydrogen?? Very good question!!

POWER and GREED!

An oil based economy is BIG BIG BIG money for many people including the Oil companies and even for our own current oil baron in the White House. Yes, President (Oil Baron) Bush. All of these people would be out of business if everyone started producing their own Hydrogen to power their cars. One way these power hungry Oil Barons can create income with Hydrogen would be to get into the Hydrogen production business and sell it to the public just like it's done right now with gasoline. You'd drive into a gas station and fill up with Hydrogen. The problem here is that current Hydrogen Storage Fuel Cell technology is very expensive, and it takes time to fill up with a tankful of Hydrogen... unless you can find a 700 bar pump station which will reduce fill times down to around 5 minutes. This of course could be done over-night at ones own residence but then the Oil Barons wouldn't be making their money, would they? Nope. Although Hydrogen filling stations would extend one's travel range. When a method is finally invented to produce Hydrogen Storage Fuel Cells cheaply and to quickly fill your Fuel Cell, Hydrogen will become our next government accepted transportation fuel. But, (and that's a big but), there is a way right now that has already been patented to actually allow one to put a water hose into your vehicle's gas tank or (in this case) water tank and drive off into the sunset.

Not too long ago, in the 70's, a man named Stanley Meyer discovered a way to crack Hydrogen by using a high AC voltage low current method of producing Hydrogen on demand, and at a rate fast enough to supply an engine with the amount of hydrogen gas necessary to run from voltage created by the automobiles own electric alternator/generator. The amount of energy produced using his method of cracking Hydrogen is around 7 times greater than the amount of energy needed to produce the Hydrogen. So, in a sense it's like using one gallon of gasoline to produce 7 gallons of gasoline. A form of perpetual motion one might ask?? Perhaps...

Stanley Meyer Stanley Meyer actually received patents for his HH0-splitting invention. He was also offered well over 1 billion dollars from the Arabs and requests were made from people, most likely from our own government, to shelf his invention and keep quiet. But he continued forward and completed a working vehicle using his patented HH0 gas device. But unfortunately, Stanley Meyer died from a cerebral aneurysm on March 21, 1998 while eating at a restaurant. Many say he was poisoned and the Oil Companies and Government(s) were involved.

And today, there are cars being converted to create and run on HHO gas - without the use of Hydrogen Fuel Storage Cells.

In my opinion, Stanley Meyer is nothing less than a martyr, hero, and possibly one of the greatest Inventors of all time.

Will we ever see the day when water powered vehicles become a reality for everyone? It depends - It will just take one person, or a group of individuals who have the courage to refine and package this technology and then offer it to the people for the benefit of all.

Affordable HHO conversion kits can be installed in any existing gasoline powered vehicle to run on Hydrogen. Maybe someone who reads this article will carry on in the pioneering tradition of Stanley Meyer and give to the world just what it so desperately needs - Clean and inexpensive water powered vehicles. The technology IS here, it works, and it should be available to everyone, globally.
