Nothing much to say about this. She was my pirate RPG character (7th Sea).

Sort of inspired by The Secret Garden, and how Mary might feel upon returning to it after growing up.

Done in class... I think this qualifies as my largest classroom "doodle" yet. Drawing while listening is a lifetime habit for me.

She's Topsy, the well-dressed gent is Turvy. The fairy she calls Mr Jingles, and the troll-cat creature has no name I know of, but I think he's having terminal trouble with his marriage.

I started this as an attempt to draw more males, as I was on a females-only kick at the time, but stopped after three, and never even liked the third one. Perhaps I'll continue it at some point, though - the idea being different male physiques in strong black/white lighting.

I like this one much better than Man Series #1 - that is to say, I think it's better art.

I kinda loathe muscled bodies and have never been able to understand why they're the beauty standard. Not that this fellow's an Adonis either. Keep it to a happy medium, guys!

I'm not listing this as fanart because it's so far from the original, but this actually started as illustration for a WWI Lord of the Rings AU where Rosie Cotton is a harlot and Sam and Frodo her adoring customers... Yeah.

The saying this was inspired by is from Terry Pratchett's Monstrous Regiment.

Stephen Maturin, a snake and Jack Aubrey in a scene from one of the books (forget which...) as ducks.

I did this by request before I'd learned to draw Jack and Stephen as themselves, and duckification is my way out of these things.

Done for a request on Perfect Duet - a moment from before the two had got used to each other's little ways.

This is second-season Buffy, more or less - at least that's the season I was watching when I drew this, and it's based on Sarah Michelle Gellar's baby-face, so to speak.

In the scene this is based on it was actually William de Worde they caught with his pants down, but I didn't check before drawing. D'oh.

This was based, for no particular reason, on the cover of the Dogville DVD. I happened to be working at a video rental at the time and it was quiet.

Nothing much to add. Another non-canonical pairing I like. What can I say? They had such chemistry in the original.

Based on Latin Doll's fan-novel by the same name, itself based on Monstrous Regiment... Polly Perks is about to die, and Maladict decides she shouldn't. Much gender-confused vampiric angst ensues.

LOVE the title of the fic, which is why I appropriated it for the illustration.

I'm not a huge HP fan, but it did have a very drawable cast.

It was mentioned in the unpublished epilogue to LotR, or rather only published later in the History of Middle-Earth volumes, that Sam's daughter Rose went looking for entwives in the Shire forests. What if her mother, as a young child, had already found them?

This was inspired by a fanfic idea of Tiamat's Child's, which as I understand never came to fruition.

There's not much point to this... I do remember there was a crossover challenge I did it for, but can't remember which community or person prompted it!

I have inexplicable affection for that movie; but then I tend to like cross-dressed female warriors. I always liked Mulan's boy-look, so here you go: Ping.

I enjoyed that novel much more than I should have, probably. Recommended for anyone who likes a good pirate girl yarn!
