She was born in 30 May 1989 at Seoul, South Korea. Hyomin is a model before she start singing and She start her debuted with T-ara on July 29, 2009.

Not just as a singer, she also starring some drama television and movie. Hyomin make her big screen debut in a horror movie, Gisaeng Ryung, playing the role of a bright and outgoing high school student named Yu rin.
