- My husband was given hypericum for residual nerve pain after recovering from Guillan Barre'. It seems to help quite a bit, although as you said, relief is temporary.

- lisadh - I hope you received my e-mail. For everyone else - I generally only recommend Hypericum in the oral form. I just haven't seen enough evidence of it's efficacy for topical application.

- Very interesting. My partner has nerve pain from a back injury. Can you include something here to explain how to use hypericum? The product above is obviously an oral med, but are there also topical applications?

- Great lens! I have a question for you...my mom have a pinched nerve in her neck from an injury. She is finding that the palm of her hand is itching and has been told it is probably related. Would hypericum be useful for this symptom? 5*

- Bree, remember though that Hypericum will only help if the pain is actually from the nerves themselves. This doesn't really address issues such as muscle or bone problems unless the rest of the picture fits (like the shooting pains).

- Great lens, and homeopathy really works. I didn't realise it was covered by some health insurance plans in the US, that's great!
