Diet wise, it's more than cutting out all the sugar. It is about eating a healthy, balanced diet. If managed properly, there is no reason not to enjoy occasional sugary treats. There is no hard and fast rule that says that sugar is bad for hypoglycemia. Understand what you are doing and keep within the limits.
