It is a despicable practice don't get taken in!!

Dealers participate in some less than ethical practices that can cost you some serious money if you are not careful. Make sure you see how to avoid being taken advantage of!!

We have not heard of this happening at a specific Las Vegas Hyundai Dealer and it may never happen but you still need to know about the practice so you can be prepared!

Rebate Scooping - The art of a a dealer not telling a cnsumer all of the incentives they are eligible for and adding those incentives to the bottom line!

You are buying a new Hyundai Sonata from a Las Vegas Hyundai Dealer and trading in your four year old Hyundai Elantra. They give you the factory rebate for Sonata's kind of hard to hide that, but you may be eligible for an owner loyalty rebate because you already own a Hyundai.

So the deal is done and you trade in your Elantra for the Sonata get the factory rebate for the Sonata and miss the owner loyalty rebate. Be rest assured the dealer will apply for it and claim it for you!

Chances are in your excitement of buying the new car you signed a power of attorney to allow them to apply for it and you are none the wiser. They just picked up extra profit at your expense!!
