On being part of something special

When Bonnie, BDKZ, asked me a few months back if I would be interested in taking part in a new program coming up for Moms on Squidoo, I jumped at the chance.

I was honoured to have been asked, and am honoured to be associated now with such a great bunch of women.

Over session 2 I have learned even more techniques for creating better lenses. Rocket Moms is for the veteran lens creator and the newcomer, all have something to learn and can gain from these sessions.

If you have the opportunity to take part in an upcoming Rocket Mom session, I encourage all of you to say yes. You will enjoy every moment.

Rocket Mom Guidelines 




Rocket Moms is a gathering of some of the smartest women on the web, working together to make Squidoo lenses (and a whole lot more).

The main point is to meet each other, get creative with new lenses, and have fun.

1. Do as much or as little as you want. Go at your own pace.
2. Say yes more than you say no. Give people the benefit of the doubt.
3. Say thanks early and often.
4. Go ahead and fail. It's the only way you'll know you're trying.
5. You get out as much as you put in.
6. Have fun!
