I Am Bruce Lee

This is a documentary about Bruce Lee, the world's best martial artist ever to grace the silver screen and the man who had inspired a generation of actors, filmmakers, athletes and people from all walks of life.
Lee developed his own martial arts Jeet Kune Do, combining age old techniques with his own style gleaned through years of practice. He was the ultimate fighting machine with the mind of a philosopher. He wrote about the philosophy of martial arts, about motivation, self-actualization and liberation of the individual. Bruce Lee was, as UFC President Dana White calls him, the "Father of Mixed Martial Arts".
Through his unorthodox Jeet Kune Do and his films, Lee revolutionized and elevated Hong Kong martial arts films to a new level and ignited a surge of interest in Chinese martial arts in the Americas.

This film examines how, more than three decades after his untimely death, Bruce Lee continues to inspire millions in the world of martial arts, entertainment and in many other aspects of life.
'I Am Bruce Lee' is directed by Pete McCormack (Facing Ali, Hope in the time of Aids), and features interviews with people who were either close to Lee or knew him, along with many top names in the entertainment and athletic fields. These include basketball superstar Kobe Bryant, actors Mickey Rourke and Ed O'Neill, world boxing champions Manny Pacquiao and Ray 'Boom Boom' Mancini, UFC's Dana White and world champion Jon Jones, MMA fighters Cung Le and Stephan Bonnar, and "Haywire" actress and MMA fighter Gina Carano.
Also featured are interviews with director/writer Reginald Hudlin, pop music superstar Taboo, pro skateboarder Paul Rodriguez, Bruce Lee's wife Linda Lee Caldwell and his daughter daughter Shannon Lee.
Dan Inosanto, one of the three people who were allowed to teach his martial arts system (Taky Kimura and James Yimm Lee being the other two), and martial artists Bob Wall and Gene LeBell are also featured in the film. Also included are rarely seen photos and archived footage of the legendary martial artist, philosopher, film director, film producer, screenwriter, and founder of the Jeet Kune Do martial arts movement.
Missing from the film is martial artist and actor Chuck Norris, Bruce Lee's friend and co-star in his movie "Way of the Dragon".
