My Life Captured in Fragrant Bubbles
I am all about fragrances. I have married, in common law fashion, consciously or not, each factor of my life, as well as the magical moments, to my favorite smells.
My sense of smell has the ability to awake warm fuzzy comforting memories, and take me on journeys of heartache, loss, love, romance and happiness.
Fragant Bubbles of Memories
my life trapped in sweet smelling memories
My house, the center of my comfort being, is all about vanilla, citrus, and cinnamon fragrances. And coffee. Of course. Nothing wakes me up like the smell of freshly brewed coffee and fragrant vanilla swirls always bring a hectic day to a comforting calm end.
Loving memories about my late mother is laced with cinnamon and lavender. Whenever I was going through a tough time, got my heart broken, her lavender laced hugs caressed my bruised ego, and her cinnamon dusted pancakes warmed my cold soul.
My most sensual passionate memories about a tall dark man are locked within a musky bubble that contains citrus bursts with spicy undertones.
I am not only particular, and obsessed, with the fragrances that are breezing through my home, and memories, I am equally obsessed about my own personal fragrance.
My perfect perfume must accentuate my very complex personality. Impossible, you say? Hah! That perfect perfume actually exists.
Defined By My Fragrance
I am femme!
It took me quite a while to find my perfect fragrance.
I know what I wanted in a perfect fragrance. And what I did not want.
Even though I love coffee, I had no desire to be mistaken for a human percolator. I also did not want to be mistaken for a delicate desert. So, vanilla was always an absolute no-no.
I wanted a perfume that has a clean undertone, with burst of citrus and apricots whiffs that finishes with a slight flower petal sprinkle. A perfume that describes the inner, outer, and total core of me.
I did not ask for much. You would think.
My hunt for the perfect perfume was a brutal, albeit fragrant, one. I spent a whole lot of money on some very dodgy smelling glamour water.
I also spent $60 on something that made me to smell as if I was douched in antiseptic liquid. Entirely my own fault. I asked the sales person for a recommendation; I asked for a fragrant that has a 'clean' undertone. I guess I looked as if I was in need for some 'real cleansing'.
I almost gave up on my hunt for the perfect fragrance when I saw the simple pink and silver box. No frills. Totally my style. And my favorite color palette.
But I was still skeptical.
I told the sales person, who I am sure was silently planning my last days on earth, that I wanted to smell 'femme'.
I smelled it. And found my inner femme. I found femme by BOSS.
Refreshing Citrus Burst Meet Delicate Freesia
for a true femme fragrant splash
The top note of femme by BOSS is a fresh clean blend of tangerine and blackcurrant that delicately blends in with freesia petals.
The smooth blend of fruity citrus bursts and soft flowery aromatics perfectly accentuate the feminine, yet sophisticated, outer appearance many women strive for. I certainly am.
A Linger Sensual Finish

- We need a scratch and sniff computer screen so that I can fully appreciate this fragrance. Maybe that will be available in the next version. I really enjoyed the way you wove your ideas together in this lens. Wish you the best.

- Congratulations on finding the perfume that suits YOU - have been on an identical hunt myself and it went on forever! Who would imagine that some of the most 'exclusive' perfume brands on the market manage to produce 'fragrances' that smell like flyspray or bubblegum? I found my treasure - called "Admit" - in a small shop for $15. The motto for perfume hunting ought to be: Never give up!

- Must try, as I am still seeking my fragrance. It is a scent I will remember when I find it again. It is by Eves Rouche. I bought in during my travels through France some many years ago and have to this day not found again :( Super sexy lens :D

- My cousin is taking training to become a perfumer, using all natural ingredients. I had no idea how complex the world of fragrances really is. Our sense of smell is one we under appreciate but it is so very important. Great lens.
