I Just Don't Like Tattoos
Small, indiscreet tattoos do not bother me. But, most people do not stop at small discreet tattoos. I have been told it is "addicting", once you have one tattoo you just want more.... I guess that is the part that bothers me. The people that don't know where to stop with the nice discreet tattoo.
Now don't get me wrong, I have nothing against people who have tattoos, to each his own.It is just me. I don't get where some of these people work... some people with tattoos are just scary looking people (like the photo here) and I would not want them waiting on me in a restaurant.
I always tell the kids I work with or any kid who will listen, "before you get a tattoo, think about what it will look like when you are 60 years old." If they still think it is a great idea, well then, "I don't want them waiting on me in a restaurant when they are 60." I Hate Tattoos
The other piece of advice I leave behind; I have never seen any one on the "Fortune 500" list with a tattoo. Now they may very well have one, but, they are probably part of the small group of people who believe in "small and discreet" tattoos that they can keep to themselves and only their good friends know they have them.

- Not a fan of tattoos.
Seems like too much pain involved.
Then you have to work to cover them with clothing and such when you get older...or you don't like your tattoo anmore.
I would rather do henna if i was so inclined.

- If people were born with these things as scars they would be trying to remove them, like birthmarks or bad burns. To me they are nothing more than street graffiti and a cry for attention. I am with you. Featured this on Blessed by Skiesgreen 2012. Hugs

- The bad thing about tattoos are the pictures like the first guy, they just look idiotic. I support the right for everyone to get as many tattoos they want, but at some point you look less like you and more like walking tattoo.

- ok, i know the purpose of this article is sell those absolutely repulsive fake sleeves, but what you wrote was absolutely horrendous, unintelligent, and ignorant. you say you have nothing against people with tattoos, yet a few words later you mentioned you wouldn't want them waiting on you. a bit judgmental, wouldn't you say?
There are plenty of very successful people who sport numerous tattoos all over their body, and you're sending a message that tattoos can hinder success which is obviously false.
these fake sleeves may be ok for a prank, a costume, something along those lines, but i would find it absolutely embarrassing for someone to ask me about it from afar, only to find out it's fake. they also take away from the creativeness and beauty that tattoos bring, and is a cheap way to look 'cool'. God, these are so pathetic!

- Jeff, get a life... this was supposed to be a humorous take on tattoos and I will still stand by the fact that if that guy in my into waits on me in a restaurant..... I will get up and leave and never go back. that guy is just fricking scary and any service establishment that has him working for them, I do not want to go into. That is my feeling, and thank god we live in AMERICA where I am aloud to say what I feel. Thanks so much for sharing your rant about what an idiot I am.... thank you god and America for that freedom!

- Psychologically, it seems folks are actually addicted to 'getting a tattoo' vs having them. It's a painful release but addicting for a lot of folks to get the needlework done.
