- Wow. What a box of memories. It would be so good to get around to writing that recipe book!

- There are a lot of things I enjoy and cooking isn't one of them...LOL. Though, I hope I knew how to cook like a lot of people. Well, if you call frying an egg or making an omelette's cooking, then yes I can cook! If I do cook, I'd have to use a recipe, though. :)

- My hubby LOVES to cook! I buy the groceries and do most of the dishes. I LOVE to eat so we even it out :)

- I do enjoy cooking, but I am unable to follow a recipe: I will just usually check the picture and ingredient and then do it my way. Most of the time it is pretty good. Problem is usually when people want the recipe I can't give it to them since it's just approximations and dashes here and there!

- I don't enjoy cooking either and seem to cook the same old things. If I do find a recipe that actually turns out, I record it in a recipe book. My daughter uses recipe cards so I guess it's not that old-fashioned. My hubby loves to use the BBQ. I guess my poor cooking habits were passed on from my grandmother to my mom and then to me and then to my daughter. My future son-in-law said he's getting my daughter cooking lessons for a wedding present. LOL. :)

- I've never been one to 'enjoy' cooking (luckily my hubby cooked well) and my early attempts were 'near disasters', so I can relate! Fun lens and a subject dear to my heart - NOT cooking! Lensrolling to my Potholder Soup lens!

- I don't like to cook either, and I too am fortunate that my husband does some of it and does it well. Much better than I do. Matter of fact, he saved us from my Thanksgiving day cooking disaster, running to the grocery store and making a really good side dish to bring to the dinner after I totally botched a recipe. It wasn't the first time.

- Let's start an "I Hate to Cook" club! My favorite cookbook is this silly thing called " A Man, a Can and a Plan" and yes, that's a real title...in a boardbook, ya know those kind for infants? Hilarious and yet includes some very simple and yummy recipes. Think I'll give all the rest of my cookbooks away, never use 'em. Very unique lens here...5*s!

- I agree with you! Though I do a lot of cooking and baking to feed the family and stretch our food-dollars, I don't particularly enjoy it, and would almost always prefer to be doing something else! Great Lens; thanks!

- Wow - what a treasure - I used to have a recipe box myself but it wasn't a family heirloom like yours. I don't have a recipe box any longer - a few cookbooks and then the internet for my meal making. But, I am like you - I generally only have to cook about 50% of the time because my husband does alot of it - thank goodness for that!

- I like to cook, but I'm not big on baking and I really don't like cleaning up. If I had someone to clean up after each time I would gladly get creative at every meal and bake, but for now dinner for five every night is enough!

- I hope you and Eleanor do that cookbook and adding little stories about at least some of the recipes would be quite wonderful. My favorite recipes are ones that have been "handed" down from family. Let us know when it's published...I'm sure many would love to buy one.

- I am so glad to know you do not like to cook either! I just have trouble watching a pot boil...so many other things to do. I'm apt to let it go and let it burn. Anyway, I love the lens. Strangely enough I do treasure family recipes even though I don't cook.
