I Love My Dyson, It Really Sucks

Ranked #28,193 in Home & Garden, #446,289 overall

The Dyson DC14

I really do love my Dyson. When it comes to cleaning, it is the best by far of any other vacuum cleaner I have ever owned. The Dyson DC14 is my second Dyson. My first, the DC01, was a wedding present back in 1998.

After over 5 years of diligent service, and picking up after many a redecorating project, we decided to replace it with a newer model. Bring in the DC14.

It is easy to use, easy to empty the collection cannister, and definitely picks up the dirt. While not the most romantic of Christmas gifts, it would definitely be on my wish list.

Information for allergy sufferers

Dyson upright and cylinder vacuum cleaners are fitted with a filters to remove more dust, mould spores, and allergens from the room as you vacuum. These vacuums are approved by allergy associations worldwide, including the British Allergy Foundation (BAF).

The BAF have also validated Dyson's research into allergies and asthma.

Root-cyclone technology (TM) create centrifugal forces of up to 150,000 G. These forces can remove particles as small as bacteria. When using a Dyson machine the air released can contain 150 times less mould spores, bacteria, pollen, and other allergens than the air you're breathing.

I adore my Dyson. Best vacuum I have ever bought and well worth the splurge. Of course, now they have the ball model and I can't justify getting a new one when the old one ( I have the Animal) still works great. love your lens.

Never had a Dyson and since my current one is still sucking along rather well I'm not in the market for one right now. But it could find its way onto my wish life in the future!

I would love to own a Dyson. I have a Bissell Liftoff and it works quite well but my next vacum must be a Dyson! Happy Holidays!
