What's Makes Portland Oregon So Great
I was raised in Milwaukie, Oregon, a suburb of the city over on the SE side of town. I went to grade school, Jr High and my first year of high school there (yea, Rex Putnum!). The Rose City is in my blood.
My Portland passion is such that I finally created a web site called, Uniquely Portland Oregon (http://www.uniquely-portland-oregon.com) which is all about the most trendy and trippy things in PDX, that you just can't find anywhere else...unless they've copied Portland!
I want to share with you exactly why I love Portland Oregon and why I believe it's the greatest city in the US. By the end, I think you'll fall in love with Portland, too. ;)

What's happening on my Portland Oregon web site
Portland Is Greener Than Kermit
The city of Portland prides itself on being an environmentally sound and progressive city. We recycle everything and re-use it in different forms, over and over again. Our public transportation has been updated with the latest technology to keep the air clean.
Organic food and holding our farmers in high regard is something we are very proud of. Portland Farmer's Markets abound, where you can go to get some wonderfully tasty fruits, veggies, meats and more.
If you're a vegan, you're going to to be in heaven around here. Restaurants for you are cropping up all over the city and regular Portland restaurants are adding vegan selections to their menus
We even have a very famous doughnut shop called Voodoo Doughnut that produces popular vegan delights. You've probably seen it on the travel channel.
