I love swiffer

Dusting has never been easier!

Do you love to dust? I used to hate it. There was always this dusty duster, which you had to shake in order to get the dust off with the effect that the dust went straight into my face or straight onto the object again which I had dusted a few minutes ago. And have you ever tried to dust a tv set or a radio set with various buttons on them with a duster? The space between the buttons always stayed dusty. As I said in the beginning: I hated dusting.

Then I discovered Swiffer. I won't say that I love dusting now, but I catch myself humming happily while dusting the dust away!

This is it!

See this fluffy something? It's going to do the work!

Swiffer

This fluffy looking thing consists of - ahem - the fluffy looking thing and a kind of fork, on which the fluffy thing is put on. After having swiffed all my books with it, the fluffy thing usually has to be replaced - I did say that I still don't love dusting, did I?

Dusting Books with Swiffer

Dusting the Books with Swiffer

I've got quite a few books. Dusting the back of the book with a duster had not been much of a problem, but dusting the upper side of it definitely had been. There are even people who say that that part of the book can only be dusted by opening and closing it very quickly or softly blowing the dust off. Of course it meant that the dust went off the book, but on the carpet.

With Swiffer the problem is easily solved: after the dusting the dust is in Swiffer, and after having dusted all the books in your flat you can just dump the fluffy thing into the trashcan.

Now with Swiffer you can softly glide over the wooden surface of your chair. It feels like tenderly stroking the wood, and it takes away the dust so easily!

I do it with a duster. I can't stand all these new things!

whitemoss says:

I do it with one of those microfiber cloths- sort of a duster I guess.
Could try a Swiffer though!

draik says:

I use a damp cloth or just vacuum the dust off. I think I may try to use a swiffer.

sandyspider says:

Just blow the dust off. No seriously...I have a duster.

I usually wait till my Grandkids come over, and "they" dust for me :)

I usually wait until the dust is really piled up and then use a damp cloth. But I think I may try a Swiffer.

The Swifter fluff is nice to use. I dislike the idea of paying for it, though.

And what about sweeping the floor?

On with Swiffer Sweeper - away with the Dust!

Most of the floors of my flat are covered by carpet, but the floors in the kitchen, the bathroom and my studio are not. Well, up to now I have been vacuuming them, but there is another way of getting them clean - using the swiffer sweeper.
First I go over the floor with the dry cloth, and then with the wet one. It is done quickly and with a very satisfying result!

Never thought of writing about swiffer or something like that. Great idea and great lens!

Yep, handy new dusting wand. Too bad it is not totally magic. Blessed! Many people seem to write about cleaning tips with cut and paste from the Internet. I guess they hate cleaning jobs even more than you.

I have been using the sniffer mop for awhile until the other day--I used it to clean the snow off my car--it worked well until it snapped. Got to get out and get a new one.
Enjoyed your lens and went over to yuor blog--BTW--thanks for commenting on my Manifestation lens--I appreciate it. Blessings.

I LOVE swiffer! Yesterday I swept the floor with a broom, then swiffered twice, then wet swiffered. My kitchen floor was immaculate. For a little while anyway. Such a fun subject.
